Ticket proceeds will go to help the Yi people who became disabled, orphaned, lost their family members or homes in the Sichuan earthquakes. The support is organized in cooperation with artist Wang Lizhi and Li Long , Sichuan.

Music is a gift. Learning to play together is a process, first you play in separate worlds, then gradually you start listening to each other and when you suddenly realize you’re making music together, it is a gift. The Music Road Young Musicians Concert is a result of many hours of practices, taking time to listen to each other, understand each other and of course, to have fun. Some twenty young musicians will perform their favorite pieces to the Kunming audience. The focus is on European chamber music. The concert program includes pieces by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Faure, Chausson and others. The chamber orchestra is conducted by Hu Xingyu. Artistic direction by Mari Salli. 2009 Easter Concert

Now the time for Easter approaches. The festival of Easter is a most passionate and dramatic celebration of life overcoming death. This is the time for acknowledging the depth of human suffering, giving a harsh, but just picture of the cruelty and injustice of the world, but also a time which, in the midst of the pain, gives an uncompressible hope of life, light and goodness.
This year’s Easter is celebrated in the second week of April from the 5th to the 12th. During the festival one remembers the crucifixion and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Easter week follows the last week of his life, from the joyful crowning on Palm Sunday to the betrayal of Maundy Thursday, evil and death’s triumph on Good Friday until Life at last defeats Death on the morning of Easter Sunday.
Easter is a beautiful festival concerned with the most essential experiences of human beings, embracing the whole register of emotions, from deep desperation to raptures of joy and exhileration. To celebrate Easter Nordica would like to invite you to a great concert on the 11th of April Saturday at 8 pm.
TCG Nordica restaurant offers a great Easter buffet with various traditional and delicious dishes from the Scandinavian kitchen. The buffet opens from 6 pm before the concert, and need prior reservation to TCG Nordica :4114691 4114692.

Valentines Day Concert

Valentines Night is a night to be brought the one(s) you love the most, and treat them to something special in celebration of this festival of love. On the 14th of February the beautiful and lofty gallery area of Nordica will be changed into a splendid dining hall. Just imagine: White clad tables among excellent artworks, lit up by soft candlelight that reflect in the wineglasses, low and tender laughing blended in with smooth and playful live music performed by the Nordica House Band.

For 58 RNB you will get the full package: buffet, dessert, wine and live music. The Buffet is open from 6 to 8 pm, and the live music will begin at 6.30 pm. You will need to order in advance for the buffet.
We are looking forward to see you at Nordica.
