Julia Groth is the Swedish Västra Götaland scholarhip holder of 2015, she will work at TCG Nordica guest studio from June 1 to the end of August in 2015.
The project consists of an art exhibition based on poetry and accompanied by poetry readings. The participants are six Chinese artists working with the TCG Nordica, a Kunming art center with strong ties to Scandinavia and six Amsterdam artist/printmakers from the Amsterdams Grafisch Atelier (AGA).
Cui Yu, Ou Lingyi and Sun Hui are three post-80s artists graduated from Yunnan Arts University. Based on the similar ideas they share towards art and life, such as having interests in the small things and daily scenes around them, pursuing painting skill diligently, trying to express mental experience purely, painting to them is like self-modifying.

Our project is a presentation of Norwegian music and art. Alfred Vaagsvold will present his paintings. Rune Alver will play Norwegian piano music. The project will take place within the exhibition venue, including workshops, opening ceremony, concerts and performance.
Xue Tao is to present his newspaper installation solo exhibition “Extraordinary Daily II” in his hometown – Yunnan. This Exhibition will focus on 14 representative works of Xue’s since 2007. It’s going to be his first installation art exhibition in Yunnan, testifying the ceaseless exploration in his artistic creation. Opening: 8 PM on July 11, 2014.
This exhibition reflects my walks to meet the Chinese people and its environment. I graduated with an arts school with a documentary video work and photography. Opening reception will be at 8pm, June 13th.
