TCG Nordica is going to present French photographer Remi Lesueur’s Exhibition “Déambulation” from June 13th to July 5th, the opening reception will be at 8pm, June 13th.
I’m Rémi Lesueur, I was born in France in 1985 and am graduated of the School of Fine Arts in Toulouse. During my studies, photography and video are the main tools that I put in space to test the interaction of image and time with the viewer. It is with a documentary video that I get my degree in 2010. After arriving in Paris, I worked on the decoration and special effects in the cinema, and then I joined a team of journalists and became cameraman for an independent media broadcasting on the net. In 2012, I worked for editing a journalistic program in a major French channels of information.
Today, I need to travel and discover other cultures that why I return to my first passion, photography. I take pictures of my travels, the landscape I cross, the people I meet, the graphic elements that question me and the sensations I feel. With this exhibition called “Déambulation”, I present you my perspective on culture and the Chinese people. This exhibition reflects my walks to meet the Chinese people and its environment. I taking pictures because for me, capture the moment is to become aware of reality. Choose a frame and be on the lookout for the moment is to give a snapshot of the time with a sociological perspective. The human condition is an integral part of my outlook on things. Since my arrival in China I feed a blog and photo exhibition called “Déambulation”, (“wandering”) I can put a space selection of photographs illustrating my eyes on the empire of the middle.
