In dance, the body is seen as a “tool.” When in motion, it is a “language.” Together, “tool” and “language” work to express the most private, pure side of ourselves: “emotion.” There’s no need to think of dance in strictly formal terms – what’s most important is to enjoy it, and authentically be in its presence!
The creating motivation of the Limbs: while the potentials of the limbs have been oriented to endless techniques, we’ve gradually forgotten, even deviated from the dancing itself. Is it just for the sake of “not telling stories, having no characters, being regardless of gender, showing no techniques, and needing no special choreographic packaging” that the pure dancing language has left nothing but made people say “I don’t understand”? If the limbs have failed to capture the souls in its pure form, what then is the meaning of have this art?
This time, let us return to its essence, witnessing the movements and creations of the limbs in the most direct way!
The whole performance will be 50mins.
