Advent is anticipation, expectation and hope. In the stillness of preparation for Christmas we shed candle light upon life stories that might as well have been our own. Advent is thoughtfulness and a new beginning. We look into the eyes of others and promise not just to pass them by. We hold each other’s hearts and we keep breathing. Advent is aspiration and longing for incarnation. To dare to continue traveling on a lonely road.
Music, dance, movement and lyrics will provide challenges about what Advent is all about. We light one candle a week four weeks before Christmas. Join us as we light the first one.
