Wood block reduction printing gained its name after 1995. Wood block reduction printing is called so because the board on which the artist makes carvings is no longer printable after the last printing stage. It combines the skills of painting, cutting and printing. The board is naturally destroyed during the evolution of the print. The characteristic of cutting while printing gives full play to the features of uncertainty and chance. At the same time, the beauty of cutting marks of prints is fully expressed.
